Students and medical resident students benefit from the possibility to participate in the activity of scientific research. Simultaneously, they are offered a deep knowledge course of international foreign languages, training of specialization and documentation abroad, driving courses, participation in different sport, cultural-artistic activities etc. All these activities are backed up by a well developed technical and material basis, of a rich fund of medical scientific literature and other modern sources of information, normal living and rest conditions for students, residency owners and teachers. „... Our University is well known abroad for its values it produced in the field of education, medical assistance to the population and spiritual culture. This University is always devoted to the traditions of the forerunners and at the same time anchored in the realities of the epoch we live in, being involved in the exchange of values with over 30 famous universities and medical centers from Romania, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Israel, a fact that assures the mobility and offers the chance of plenary assertion within the didactic-teaching frame and studious youth.

The subject matter of the collegian level is to create and improve medical and pharmaceutical specialists with ethical principles, data and sensible skills indispensable for qualified, competent and accountable execution of their profession, organization of the tutorial method, research, clinical activity (diagnosis, treatment, and hindrance of diseases). Studies square measure provided in conformity with national and international standards, that square measure suggested by the UN agency. The method of coaching and raising the medical skills is accomplished among the clinical units with the number of ten thousand beds placed in republican, municipal hospitals, analysis centers, dispensers, polyclinics, pharmacies.

On arrival at the Chisinau International Airport, foreign students are met by the representatives of the University and accompanied to their lodging. Also upon arrival, foreign students can make international phone calls by using cards that can be purchased at the airport, or from telephone stations located in many places throughout the city, including the neighborhood of the students' campus.

The SUMPh provides hostel accommodation to all international students immediately after arriving in the country, so it is not necessary to look for accommodation. There are 16 hostels with single/double/triple persons in a room accommodation. All hostels are equipped with kitchens, shower-rooms, terrace, study rooms, internet and other facilities. Each floor has: a kitchen with all necessary equipment, showers, and several living units consisting of 2 rooms 2 2(18m and 12 m ), a small corridor and a toilet. Each room is estimated to have 2 people living in it. In case of availability of free spaces, Indian citizens may apply to the management of Foreign Students Department with a request to allot them 2 places in the room at a corresponding cost. The hostels are located in the student's campus which is within walking distance to some academic buildings, university clinics, university pharmacies, medical scientific library, canteen, etc. There are good transport links which assure connection between student's campus and other places in city.
